And the winner of the TC Kids Competition is…
…Harrison Bush!
Harrison took part in our TC Kids one day special, which entertained all the children of our Travel Counsellors who were off school during the national public sector strike.
The competition was ‘Imagination Station’ and involved all of the TC Kids writing a story and illustrating it by putting together a collage.
Here is Harrison’s winning story and a picture of his collage. Well done Harrison!
The Travel Counsellors Save Christmas!!!
One cold winters evening, Santa was sat with his feet up in front of the fire and a cup of cocoa in his hand. He had a worried look on his face. Mrs Claus asked him what was wrong; he just sighed and said “I don’t think there’s going to be a Christmas this year. It’s Christmas Eve, the reindeers can’t fly and without them the presents won’t get delivered!”
“Why can’t the reindeers fly?” asked Mrs Claus.
“My Online shopping from Tesco won’t be delivered until next week which means my magic dust won’t get here in time. The reindeers can’t fly without it. What can I do?!”
“I think I know who can help “said Mrs Claus.
“Who?!”
“Malcolm from Travel Counsellors!”
As quick as a flash Santa got on the phone to Malcolm at sunny Bolton’s head office.
Malcolm was up to the challenge and sent an email to all the travel counsellors worldwide asking them to get themselves on the next flight to Lapland. The travel counsellors were happy to help and jumped on the plane to collect the presents from Santa’s workshop.
“Thank you for all your help travel counsellors!” said Santa “Now hurry, deliver the presents as quickly as you can.”
Malcolm sent his fleet of planes from blue land to take the travel counsellors and the presents all over the world.
Eventually all the presents got delivered and the tired travel counsellors collapsed in the snow. As a reward for all their help Santa let them have a go at making their own toy in his workshop.
The travel counsellors made everything from a Jack in the box to a shiny new bicycle.
“Why don’t you travel counsellors come and work for me in my workshop?” said Santa.
“No thank you” replied the travel counsellors”we’re going to stick to what we’re best at…”
“What’s that” asked Santa.
“SELLING HOLIDAYS!!” they shouted.
